Privacy notice

CWS Carpentry Ltd ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. This notice explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

When you call, email, message us on WhatsApp or use the contact form, we receive the details you choose to give us: usually your name, phone number, email address and a description of the job, including any photos you send.

How we use it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and carry out any work you ask us to do. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in running our business. We do not sell your details or use them for marketing without your permission.

Who we share it with

Enquiries reach us through our email, phone and form providers, and through WhatsApp if you choose to message us there. We do not share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and for as long as tax and legal rules require us to keep business records.
